The former Auburn star will square off against New York Giants wide receiver Brandon Marshall during the 9 p.m. CDT telecast on Sunday.
The show is hosted by former NFL standout Michael Strahan, and Sunday's episode also will feature Tennessee Titans wide receiver Eric Decker, who will take on former Olympic short-track speed skater Apolo Ohno.

Newton won the 2010 Heisman Trophy as Auburn's quarterback as he set an SEC single-season record for yards of total offense and led the Tigers to an undefeated season and the BCS national championship.
He's entering his seventh NFL John Kuhn Womens Jersey season. Newton won the NFL MVP Award for the 2015 campaign.
