About This Game

About the game

Eden is a human colony far from Earth. To develop a better society, settlers made an artificial intelligence, BOOR, to help them, but this machine turned against them.
When a little girl accidentally lands on the planet of Eden, she discovers BOOR has taken over and there are only a few survivors left. With her special ability to multiply herself, she'll help them destroy BOOR and reclaim the world.

BOOR is a 2D puzzle-platformer game created by Dazlog Studio.

This game wishes it was Fez, or Inside, or Limbo. I can see that the developers were shooting for the stars, but Boor lacks the puzzles and the atmosphere that made the games it imitates, great.

Skip unless you truly love puzzle platformers.. I'm a fan of simple platformers and this definitely fits the bill.
The one thing I really look for is either a smooth and beautiful style or a particularly well balanced challenge. This game definitely fits the first criteria. The challenge isn't too great though.

The platforming is smooth and the puzzles are all pretty simple. It utilizes the duplication mechanic very well, but still feels more like a simple app for tablets than a full PC game.

If you like the style and the duplication mechanic in games then definitely pick this up.
If you are unsure then I say grab it, just wait for a sale.. Boor is a bore.
