Deck13 (Venetica, Jack Keane) brings you an action-packed RPG, where you can play solo or co-op: Switch between the close-combat warrior and the crossbow wielding vampiress at any time while in singleplayer; or play co-op with a friend, joining your forces to defeat the onslaught of the evil hordes. Summary:
I was skeptical about this game at first. Played through the prologue and kept dying a ton. Though an instant revive from an NPC companion, it was frustrating. Got through the prologue and then the story opens up and you actually learn how to play the game. The controls are a little clunky and probably best played with a controller. You have the ability to switch between two characters fi you play solo whereas if you play co-op, you chose one of the two characters. I wasn\u2019t able to find a match for a online co-op session so you may have to convince a friend to play this with. There is no replay value at all though. Once you beat the game, it sits in your library collecting dust. Although the game is short, it brings the dungeon crawl we love from Gauntlet and somewhat Diablo style games. A pure hack N slash. The enemies are also genuinely tough and can take you down easily in a few hits if you don\u2019t use your dodge or heal. Aside from a grind in normal dungeon crawl RPG\u2019s, this one has no grind, since the gold you accumulate stacks up after a bit and you find decent loot along the ways, there is no need to grind for gear or levels. I felt like more could have been done with this game. The story is about average, but nothing too grand to consider. The graphics are quite surprising for this style game. The achievements, though few there are, are missable on a single playthrough. And one in particular is a royal pain to get. This game also takes a minimum of two playthroughs to get all the achievements as well. Two different endings. I suggest picking it up on a discount, or if you get your hand son it some other way, definitely give it a play.

Side note: Some doors look as if they require two players, which essentially they do, but if laying this single player, use Alyse and shoot one panel and quickly press the other.there is a small delay on the buttons to allow this to be played in single player.
