When most people think of Led fresnel light fixtures they think of the ones in airports, and while this is true, there are many different types of these light fixtures available to homeowners. The two most popular types of these fixtures are the incandescent types and the halogen types. In comparing these two types of lighting options, the incandescent style wins by a mile. Another nice benefit is that you can operate these lights right off of your standard power supplies so that was all but impossible with some of the larger HMI bulbs. Just another nice advantage.

Traditional HID lights only take up about a quarter of the light that a Led bulb uses. This makes them brighter and more effective than traditional lights because a larger percentage of the light is utilized in illuminating the beam. They are also well suited for use in situations where there is very little light available, which is just what our military tends to rely upon.
