Bath or shower?

Which is better - bath or shower? I prefer a spacious bath https://alliancemillwork.ca/custom-bathrooms-cabinets-vanities/ where you can stretch out to your full height. But my wife insisted that we put a shower cabin in which it would be convenient for her to bathe our dogs. Honestly, I don’t see the point in this at all, because shaggy ones are constantly on the street, constantly in the mud. But the wife has her own vision on this matter.
