The ABC Murders is an adventure and investigation game adapted from the classic Agatha Christie novel. The player embodies the famous Hercule Poirot in a 3rd person perspective adventure game packed with mysteries. Once again, the private detective will find himself up against a mysterious opponent who goes by the name of "ABC".

Your intelligence will never have been so challenged!

You will have to explore many crime scenes in various cities set in beautiful surroundings across the United Kingdom. Leave no stone unturned when it comes to cross examinations and deadly puzzles!
Observe, question and explore everything possible in order to make the smartest deductions and understand the murderer’s plans!

• Examinations: The player can collect information by examining suspects and paying attention to what they say, how they say it and how they feel.
  
• Puzzles: The player will have to solve puzzles in order to obtain more clues.
  
• Brain Deductions: Depending on the clues collected, the player will be able to make deductions and find out more about the murderer.

Don't bother. It's stupidly easy. You're never asked to actually solve the murder. Instead, Poirot figures everything out on his own and you're really just along for the ride. The sections that ask you to identify and analyze clues are extremely leading so that it's nearly impossible to get them wrong. There are sections that have you solve more standard logic and spacial reasoning puzzles to open chests and the like, and these are probably the most fun part of the game, but they're really not good enough to justify the rather bland detective work that comes between them.

If you're really in it for the Agatha Christie aesthetic, I'm afraid you'll be disappointed there as well. The Telltale art style doesn't serve it well, the voice acting is awful, and it's hard to appreciate the environments with the clunky 3D point-and-click movements.

Altogether, the game is too easy, you will never really solve the case, and the non-gameplay elements are disappointing as well. I simply can't recommend it.. Fun detective game, a little short, but the original story it's based off of is too. I hope the devs make more Poirot mysteries.. It's not a very difficult game. The plots are smooth and the settings are good. The graphics brings back England in the 30's. Some counter-climax at the end of the story but it is all fine. Overall, good game but not one that you have to own, unless you are a fan of Agatha Christie and her detective - Mr. Poirot. There is an interesting index of tracking how close you are thinking in the same way as did Mr. Poirot, if you choose the right responses in a conversation or the right actions in certain circumstances. The logical thinking test, to choose from the appropriate clues to arrive at a correct answer, is somewhat tardy to the game but it flows along well with a detective story. On the other hand, the soundtrack is great. Note the slide above in Steam store to resolve one of the locker problem, out of may, with password in Chinese characters in this game.
