Adhesive lined tubing is just that, it's tubing with a thin layer of glue on the inside. Once the tubing is heated to contract around the wires or cables, the glue also melts. This creates a stronger and more even bond between the tubing and the wire or cable it's wrapped around. The bond is nearly impossible to break once the glue has dried. This kind of tubing is still just as flexible as the heat shrink tubing without adhesive.
