適量塗抹
精華液與其他保養品一樣，用量需視產品差異而定，市售的精華液也有水狀、乳液狀或凝膠等質地的區別，份量過少難以達到預期功效，但塗抹過多同樣會讓肌膚無法吸收，反造成精華液的耗損，建議在保養之前詳閱精華液的使用說明。
正確按摩臉部
利用輕推按摩的方式取代以往的拍打臉部，緩緩將小棕瓶精華液推勻。其按摩力道輕柔適中，過度使力不但不會促進精華液吸收，還可能會使肌膚受傷。
不同精華液種類，使用上也有先後順序
精華液的種類眾多，如果同時會使用到多種精華液也須注意先後順序。原則上以水狀質感為先，在塗抹乳狀、霜狀等質感較濃厚的精華液，避免影響滲透吸收。
不可用精華液代替眼霜
精華液是用高科技超連結萃取天然的動物、植物或礦物質等有效成分，製成濃縮產品。而眼部皮膚是人體皮膚中最薄的地方，無法將大量高營養成分的精華液吸收，很容易在眼周形成脂肪顆粒，況且眼霜的成分非常講究，用量也有限制。因此，不要將精華液代替眼霜。
針對膚況問題挑選
