About This Game

A THRILLING ADVENTURE:

Inspired from the Jules Vernes novel, Twenty thousand leagues under the sea.
Professor Pierre Aronnax, his assistant Conseil and the harpoonist Ned Land are captured by Captain Nemo, who travels the world's oceans on board the Nautilus submarine.
Although impressed by the beauty of the seabed, our three friends hope to escape and return to their lives on dry land. But Captain Nemo thinks otherwise… Can you help them escape?

Discover the furthest recesses of the Nautilus, take the helm and pass through the Isthmus of Suez, gaze upon hitherto unseen places under the waves! But beware, the apparently peaceful depths can hide terrible dangers!

I\u2019d probably go with a mixed review if I could. It\u2019s not terrible, but it\u2019s not that great either. I\u2019ll give it a thumbs up for the zoom feature. That\u2019s pretty useful in a Hidden Object Game (HOG).

I think that this game was originally written in French. The translation is usually okay, but there were some errors, so I didn\u2019t always know what hidden objects I was supposed to be looking for. I eventually figured out that \u201crope instrument\u201d was supposed to be \u201cstring instrument\u201d, but I needed to use a hint for \u201ctable\u201d in order to see that \u201ctable\u201d was supposed to be \u201cpainting.\u201d (The French word for painting is \u201ctableau.\u201d)

For the most part, the game was pretty easy, but I did need to use some hints. The hint system is pretty good. At first, it looks the game limits you to only six hints, but you can get more hints if you use them up. There is no penalty for using hints. You won\u2019t lose an achievement by using hints, because the game does not have any Steam achievements. There are no trading cards either.

Final verdict. Not really recommended, but if you want to try it, wait for a sale.
