The New Jordans 2017 is a brand new colorway coming the classic silhouette inspired by the iconic Air Jordan 4.This Jordan 5 is inspired by the Air Jordan 4 “Cement” and they feature a White leather upper, highlighted by a cement graphic midsole with Black shark teeth that rests atop an Icy translucent outsole. Other details include a Black 3m Reflective tongue.The Air Jordan 5 borrows an iconic colorway from its older brother for this “White/Cement” look inspired by the Air Jordan 4. Any Air Jordan fan will recognize the similarities immediately, with a white leather upper highlighted by the speckled grey accents on the midsole and top lace eyelets.As you can see, this Air Jordan 5 features a White, University Red, Black, Cement Grey and Metallic Silver color combination. Constructed with White leather across the uppers, Cement print lands on the midsole as well as the top eyelet. Black lands on the tongue which has a 3M Reflective finish. Giving them the ‘Fire Red’ feel is the use of University Red on the inside of the tongue and lace lock. Finishing the look is a translucent outsole.

I suppose we’re just picking at it – it is a nice colorway – but sometimes we want Jordan Brand to be a little more creative I suppose. In saying that, I am in need of some fresh white kicks for summer, and I am a sucker for the 5. This is a sneaker I will have to see in person before pulling the trigger.

Perhaps Jordan Brand believes both are suitable and so along with their upcoming all-White Air Jordan releases 2017, they have also whipped up “Triple Black” colorways of the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 5.
