I had the pleasure of sitting down with Ben Green, the founder of OptimizeIS, a consulting business with done-for-you services helps small business and small businesses implement, integrate, and optimize systems in their businesses. We spoke about how the business came to be, who it serves, what it does, and where it’s headed in the future.

“I realized a massive need, and a gap in skillset and implementation surrounding systems — lots of business owners hate doing the boring, yet vital, parts of the business”. Ben said. He helps soloprenuers and small teams create systems that 1) automate the mundane yet necessary, so that focus can be redirected towards zone of genius areas and domains the drive revenue and 2) build leverage so that the business can be scaled up without the heavy lifting of a team or breaking under load.

Some of the clients that Ben works with systematize their business so that they can step away and focus on other domains of life, enjoying more fun and freedom. However, Ben said that most tend to still spend the same amount of time on their business, but can direct that at working on the business rather than in it. “A majority of the clients that I speak with originally came to me to help break through a ceiling that they’ve been stuck under for quite some time, and we offer them the solutions through systems, leverage, automation and optimization to make new heights possible.”

OptimizeIS came to be when Ben realized that there were certain hangups that nearly all of his entrepreneurial friends and colleagues were getting stuck on that simply “clicked” for him. After helping a number of solopreneurs and small business set up systems, he realized that this could serve many other small business owners. Ben has been hard at work building out a team of multiple employees to help with the implementation and optimization of systems, software, and leverage into clients’ businesses.
