I think the one we got contained preserved turnip. It was an odd and overpowering taste which took me unexpectedly at first. The one we had along Anping Old Street in Tainan was made with rooster and it jogged my memory of rooster pot pie or hen ala king served in a crunchy, bread-y vessel. If you dine at Mr Goose, then be positive to attempt the deep-fried fish eggs with mayonnaise as well. Pictured below at the again, it goes very nicely with the goose.
