Not so long ago, strength training was primarily a male affair. A lot has changed in that regard today. However, if you look at the 'older' age groups, you will see that there is still some reluctance among women. Muscle building is still often associated with masculinity here, and the threshold to start strength training is sometimes still high. Is this a justified reluctance? Or can women over 50 also work on their muscle building (and maintenance) just as well?
